 Railey, it has been great to finally catchup after such a long lockdown. Thank you for your dedication to learning and joining in the discussions we have had back at school. 

Aroha's Way Story

 

Today our class was read Aroha's Way, in this story there was girl named Aroha she had dark brown and loved to be outside. Sometimes when she was outside she wasn't that confidence in herself but she would know what to do when she would have butterflies in her stomach. When she'd have butterflies she would dance until they would go away. 

We talked about our feeling and how we felt during the lastest lockdown and how those feelings might have been different from previous lockdown. 

Chapter Book Thing

We were learning about the chapter book challenge and I found it quite interesting how you had to do all these.

how to do exponents -Raileys-

We have been learning how to do Exponents and I found out it was quite hard but I was able to do some of it because I had asked for some help. When I asked for help it really helped me. But some of the time some of the answers were quite hard so I need some help but next time I will make sure that iIwill try and get better at doing exponents so I can try do it my self.

so its like you are trying to find the same number and add then up and find your answer and to like if you have 2 and other 2 and a 4 the you look for the number that are the same so yeah.

rocket kill the rockets(raileys)

 

For our rocket launch today the rocket blasted off but didn’t go very far as they spun around in a random direction. The wind was very high today.The launch went really well, the rocket didn’t fail to launch and there were no issues with the equipment.What I noticed is that the rockets did not fly straight up.This could be due to the angle of the launcher not perfectly straight. I also think that wings played a role in how the rocket moved through the air. I think I could improve this by changing the wings and making sure they are more solid and aligned correctly.My next steps are to work on my wings designs to make it more stable and want to also add a lid because this will hopefully help with the Aerodynamics go more up and i bit of YouTube and research for next time.

 in today's task we have learned to make a line,square,triangle and a circle there mostly lots of square in there but yeah we just learned how to do that and it was OK i guess.

 today i have leaned how to use loops and there is three loops that you can play with and use see to how the loops work so yeah.

 in the old days there were lots of war over same land. the Britishers and the Maoris had sign a trey.

 What have you been learning : What i have been learning is testing and learning about clouds 

What i find challenging was doing scratch and finding the right clouds to put in the scratch

how i overcame was that i did't know at first how to do it but then i went and sat buy some people then i new how to do it.

i would use some more detail and confidence

i enjoy doing that because it was challenging and fun but i did struggled a bit but it was sill fun
